A member asked:

I have gerd, 4 small gastric ulcers, & gastritis. lipase enzymes mildly over limit, amylase levels are fine. what could this be from?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Excessive acid: There could be a medical condition causing too much acidity (zollinger-ellison) syndrome, or it could be from an h. Pylorii infection. Please discuss further with your GI doc since further testing is available to figure this out. Best wishes.
