See a urologist: Suggest that you call the urologist's office and ask if you can speak with them or their nurse and explain the issues and get their advice on whether waiting is ok. sooner is better: Of course the sooner these things are evaluated and corrected the better. It is clearly abnormal on several levels, the uti, the obstruction and the renal edema.

Here are some...: You need to ask three Qs: First, your UTIs are in bladder or indeed in kidneys; second, do you have symptoms related with kidney swelling and hydronephrosis; third, have you had Hx of recurrent UTI & diabetes? If just having bladder infections and being asymptomatic, waiting for 4 wks would not make a difference in outcome. So, seek timely evaluation so to decide the urgency of care.
