No: Depending upon severity of urinary tract infection, sometimes only a few parts of urinalysis (typically a dipstick) show up positive. If it's really bad, maybe everything turns positive. At that point, we make an educated guess re which antibiotic to offer. If you've had multiple bladder infections or signs of kidney infection, we can send urine for culture & sensitivity to determine exact antibio
