Needs to be checked: Pain on kneeling may be coming from knee cap(Patella) if it is in the front.If the pain is in the back of the knee then it is coming from meniscus.It may be a injury to meniscus I suggest you have it checked and may need Xrays and/or MRI to make the diagnosis
