See doctor...: You likely have bronchospasm that needs to be treated. If you are severely short of breath (like cannot walk around the house), go to the ER. You likely need bronchodilator inhaler and perhaps a steroid inhaler. The body can compensate for quite a while, thus giving you normal oxygen sats. But that doesn't mean there is nothing wrong. See doc ASAP and, if you smoke, quit immediately!! Good luck!!!
