If a lymph node is cancerous will it shrink from taking antibiotics and/or steroids?

Lymph nodes: Antibiotics will not shrink a cancerous lymph node, and steroids usually will not either, although there could be a temporary decrease if there is associated inflammation. If you have a nodule that you're concerned about, see your doctor right away! Good luck.

Not really: Lymph nodes with metastasis do not resolve spontaneously nor from taking antibiotics. Nodes bearing lymphoma will respond to steroids but not for a long period of time without introducing chemo. By definition tumors metastatic to nodes will continue to grow in the involved nodes and spread to adjacent nodes.
