Consult: Physical therapy is important. Can Consult neurologist, pain specialist, back specialist, sports doctor, physiatrist and yes neuro or back surgeons for additional options on treatment. Alternative and complementary practitioners that are experienced in back pain can also help. Get all opinions and options available and research your surgeons before disk surgery which may be what is needed.
