Subtile finding: Normal bronchial walls are hard to see on a chest x ray (arrows in pic). If they are thickened one can see them a little more. Even so, it is a tough call so we say "suggestive of" to say we really are not sure, but we see enough to be more than just a little suspicious. For complete eval of lung tissue we do high resolution CT. "Bronchitis" is a clinical diagnosis, though, so listen to your Dr.
