Can mild allergies produce post nasal drip which seeps into lungs and makes you cough?

Cough: Doesn't all come from the lungs. Irritation/inflammation of the upper airways, nasal cavities, sinuses, throat and the middle ears, can all cause cough. So post nasal drip can cause cough without traveling all the way down to lower airways, the bronchi (air passages) in the lungs
