Zoloft (sertraline) and Azahar: Zoloft (sertraline) is a medication for treatment of depression and anxiety. Average maintenance dose is 50mg/day. There is no documented Research about effectiveness of Azahar for nervous tension, anger, distress, stimulate appetite ,or to relieve insomnia. Ask yourself about severity of your symptoms needing Zoloft (sertraline), discuss with Psychiatrist for benefits and side effects, then make decision; have Therapy

Interactions: herbal supplement interactions with prescription medications are poorly studied. It may be safe to supplement with some OTC herbal supplements, but as more are added to the mix risk of interaction may arise. Is Zoloft (sertraline) ineffective? Is that why you want supplements? Tell your prescriber! Exercise, sunlight, good nutrition, meditation, time with loved ones, reflective writing may all help

Not St. John's Wort: St. John's Wort which can help mood and anxiety works as a mild MAOI inhibitor similar to some older antidepressants which can interact with the zoloft and possibly cause serotonin syndrome.
