How long does insomnia last with zoloft. I've been on it for 3 weeks and now taking Ambien (zolpidem) and still can't sleep. How long does insomnia last on zolof?

It varies: The highest risk period for antidepressant side effects is the first 10-14 days after starting, but side effects can last up to a month before resolving. However, your insomnia sounds quite severe and given it has already been 3 weeks, in my opinion, likely warrants a change in medication.
