More info: depends on the situation you will need an evaluation and xrays by a dentist to determine your alternate treatments. Implants work well in the lower jaw if there is sufficient bone

Yes: Yes, they can be removed if they are indicated to be removed but I wouldn't necessarily replace both of them unless they were definitely needed for full function or support. Generally I would restore the first molar first. Please see a dentist to eval area.
