Possibly mono: Are you having fatigue and swollen lymph nodes around your neck? It may be infectious mononucleosis (kissing disease). Go see your doc.

Sores from kissing: hello ! Mono has an incubation period of 4-6 weeks so you kiss and get sick 1 and a half months later. This is unlikely to be MONO unless you kissed someone 6 weeks ago. You'd be sicker too. These are probably common herpes oral lesions. Dont kiss or have oral sex and they are VERY infectious for the next 10 days. thanks

Canker sore: Supportive measures should allow that to heal. If pain worsens, or if sores spread your doctor could consider prescription medicines.
