Viral pharyngitis: It looks viral, but the description is not diagnosis. A rapid strep test would be necessary. Also if it is there for a long time it might be a more serious condition that warrants lab test to test the immunity, other neck diseases, and a fungi infection. Probably and ENT visit would be the best
