Costovertebral angle: Perhaps you have a urinary tract infection, which encompasses both simple bladder infections & more complicated kidney infections. Characteristics of both include frequent urgent painful urination. Addition of back pain especially costovertebral angle tenderness plus fevers/sweats/chills points towards kidney infection. Regardless, see your FamilyDoc ASAP or Urgent Care if necessary for treatment.
