My bf was diagnosed with strep and began taking antibiotics about 6 days ago. today he wants to hang out, but i'm a little nervous about kissing.

Of course: There is no mandatory kissing requirement. Patience is a great virtue that everyone should practice. One can wait another 5 days. If there are no symptoms the next 5 days, then the strep germs can be presumed cleared. However, some people are carriers and still have strep germs when they have no symptoms... and that's just one of life's unpredictable little risks.
