See below: Anxiety may be causing insomnia. At bed time write down a list of things that are on your mind or worrying you. Pick out 1 or 2 of them that you can actually take a few steps tomorrow to resolve. Anxiety: Are you worried or excited about anything happening in your life ?. As it is short term problem the most common cause would be stress related, and some medication might cause insomnia also.
