May be OK: If your T4r level is normal this could be a transient spike in your TSH which may return to normal in weeks to months or it could be the early stage of true hypothyroidism. In cases like this I suggest waiting 3 months and then having your doctor recheck your free T4 and TSH, If the TSH remains above 10 you may need to start taking thyroid hormone

It also may be associated with anemIa of chronic disease. Hair loss, constipation& weight gain.Get your levels checked regularly. I have had response Armorthyroid > Synthroid (thyroxine) .
