A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sludge: If you have an episode of severe, persistent pain, associated tenderness, fever, dark urine, vomiting then you must be seen by a physician as these are signs of acute cholecystitis. Also you should consider having your gall bladder removed in view of the presence of sludge and repeated episodes of postprandial abdominal pain.
