Not sure why: "positional" aggravation of your pain but you should see your PCP (Primary Care Provider) for possible testing to rule out TEMPORAL ARTERITIS a potentially serious condition.... Generally a simple test called a SEDIMENTATION RATE may rule this diagnosis out! Hope this helps! Dr Z
