Plantar fasciitis: Sounds like plantar fasciitis and should be evaluated by podiatrist. He can give you exercises to do and medications to help. You may need an injection in a stubborn case. Surgery a rare and last option

Foot pain: You should see a podiatrist, a doctor who specializes in foot care. Sounds like you may have Plantar Fasciitis or some other condition requiring treatment.

Details.....: If you could be just a little more specific as to the exact location of the pain. Is it in the front of the foot, top, bottom or any other location. What does flexing you foot mean? As it stands, there could be too many problems to mention.
