The same way you'd : deal with any other chronic disorder, like asthma or diabetes, without appropriate medications -not well. ADHD is not a behavior disorder, it is a Neurodevelopmental Disorder. It begins in childhood, but can last a lifetime. Optimal management is multimodal: medications, therapies & environmental manipulations, including legal accommodations at work & school & structure at home. See CHADD.org.

ADHD help: Important to have a correct diagnosis of ADHD. Other problems/disorders can mimic or contribute to ADHD. A thorough evaluation is necessary, often with lab work to rule out medical factors. Non-medical strategies: academic support in school, choosing best situations that minimize distraction, healthy diet and exercise, learning to organize, coping skills, all help. See:https://secure02.kidshealth.org/teen/school_jobs/school/adhd.html# Best wishes.
