Treatment with Meds: If you had an evaluation for ADHD and it was positive, the next thing that you MUST do is get appropriate treatment. This begins with a trial of stimulant medication. There are two first-line medications for the treatment of ADHD and those are Methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta, etc.) & Dextroamphetamine (Adderall, etc.). The dosing needs to sufficiently robust so that you get full-day effects.
