Yes!: What you are doing is Physical Therapy to some degree however Falls are your Enemy! Make sure that you have someone assist you if possible otherwise assure that you have the appliances necessary to provide support such as wall bars and walkers etc! You should also speak to your Physician and Therapist. Wish you well! Merry Christmas.

Certainly, yes.: Being bedridden and home bound are emotionally draining circumstances. Even walking to the window to look outside can put a smile on one's face in this condition. Or walking out to the den to sit with a visitor. And any bit of mobility you can tolerate will help you physically, too.
