Urticaria: The most common reason for itching while walking is cholinergic urticaria, a type of hives triggered by increased body temperature. Try taking a long-acting antihistamine (such as allegra) each morning. If that doesn't prevent the itching, your doctor may want to run some tests to look for other, rarer causes.
