Lasik eye sugery. is that safe? what's the risk. will it lead to even worse eyesight or blindness?

Very safe: This is now a well worked out procedure. The major risk is the development of eye dryness afterwards. Rarely the final power is a little off but can be touched up if needed. Changes for the worse in eyesight are extremely rate and blindness has not been reported in millions of cases.

LASIK safety: LASIK is very safe, especially with the updated lasers nowadays. The most common side effect is worsening dry eyes after LASIK. Blindness is very rare (about 1 in a million). Not everyone is a candidate--you have to have your eyes tested by a LASIK surgeon to see if you are a good candidate.
