Yes: In general lasik is one of the safest surgeries performed. There are people who are not candidates for lasik. If you are concerned, ask your ophthalmologist about the safety of lasik in your eyes.

Yes: It is very safe if done on the right person (not everyone is a good candidate) with experience and the best technology. If it was not i wouldn't have had it done nor treated most everyone in my family (10) including my wife. There are 3 family members that i refused due to safety.
