I am experiencing major pain in my neck. it hurts to cough, because of a stinging pain in my cervical vertebrate. do you know what this could be?

See doctor: Since much of the nerve pathway goes through the neck area if this pain has been going on for more than a few days or is getting worse, you need to consult your doctor immediately . An orthopedist would be the preferred specialist. I don't know what the cause is (trauma or injury?) but whatever it is , it needs immediate attention.
