Cspine : Narrowing of the cspine spaces probably implies disc compression or degeneration. Mri would provide more specific details. Symptoms definitely can include neck pain, as well as numbness or pain down an arm. Respiratory problems such as difficuly breathing or dry cough are unlikely.

Neck pain: It sounds like you are experiencing degenerative disc disease in cervical area. Some of the symptoms might include neck pain, arm and hand pain, shoulder pain .... However, it's unlikely that you would experience breathing issues from cervical degenerative disc disease.
