My neck hurts so much from the joining of my head I can't turn from one side down to my shoulder and Down to my cervical borne ?

Persistent pain in the neck radiating to left shoulder. I've also had a few sudden jolts on the left side of my head which disappear after a few minutes and pain behind the ear under the mastoid bone.
