Possibly: Air is introduced into the colon during the procedure, in some cases more than others, and it is now being expelled. However if you're experiencing severe abdominal distress or distension or passing any blood, call the endoscopist who performed your colonoscopy as he/she will want to evaluate you as soon as possible. If there are no complications, it may take a few days to return to normal pattern
