Hiccups are spasms of the diaphragm. Burping is from gas build-up or swallowed air in the stomach. Both are usually benign occurrences and resolve in 24 to 48 hours. With your history of reflux, you are at risk of scarring in your esophagus, which can cause both. After ten days, I'd consider an ultrasound of your gall bladder and an esophagoscopy. Talk to your doctor or a Gastroenterologist.
