Had a tight stomach for a couple of weeks, especially in afternoon. had colonoscopy and stool test in march that showed all good, but tightness makes it almost feel like a weight on front of stomach, but no real pain. any idea what could cause this?

Your symptom is rather nondescript. Could tension& stress play a role? Your colonoscopy only checked for colon pathology and was normal. Do you have.upper abdominal discomfort or upper digestive symptoms? Did the gastroenterologist give you possible causes of your abdominal symptoms? If you still have concerns, see the gastroenterologist again for an opinion& advice about more testing.
