Exam time: Please schedule a visit for an in person physical exam. At 21 years of age, numbness and tingling in your extremities could be from a panoply of causes including peripheral neuropathy, diabetes, or orthopaedic causes. You need to discuss your medical and family history, travel and exposures to infection, and possibility of vascular, autoimmune, traumatic, neoplastic, and idiopathic etiologies.
