Sciatica ?: The symptoms sound like sciatica, a peripheral nerve disorder that is associated with degenerative disc disease from your lumbar spine. I suggest you have your spine evaluated by an orthopedic spine MD with X-ray and possibly MRI to see if the discs are in alignment or not. This is a serious first sign that if unchecked can lead to nerve entrapment, pain, and crippling paralysis
