Could be !: Sciatica is a common presentation of a disc in the back with pain and numbness affecting the sciatic nerve the symptoms radiate from the back to the back of the leg and sometimes all the way to the foot.

Nerve disease: In the absence of back pain the possibility of sciatic pain is low. Since symptoms are confined to foot and leg, a pinched nerve is more likely. Emg will help. See a neurologist.
