There are many,,,: There are many side effects of this drug, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headache. Rarer effects include vertigo or moving sensation, dizziness, joint pain, edema, constipation and renal impairment. Really rare effects include coma, encephalopathy, hepatitis and Stevens-Johnson syndrome. At this point, it does not appear to increase incidence of birth defects. Best of luck.
