I keep coughing when i exhale. i had a virus recently, 9 days ago. should i take an antibiotic or ride this out? i feel good, other than the cough.

Post viral cough: A post viral cough is common and resolves on its own. I would be concerned about asthma if you have associated wheezing, chest tightness, breathlessness or sinusitis if there is lots of post nasal drip.
