My 4 month old had a cough and a stuffy nose last week , i took him to the dr and the dr gave him antibiotics to take for 3 days and then to discard.. he still has a cough that seems wet , i just want to know what else i could do to thin the mucus?

Common cold: Most likely a viral common cold. At 4 months of age, the mucus, and secretions are probably bothering you more than your infant. Keep him/her warm, clean and well hydrated. It should soon pass and it seems that your child is improving already.
