A member asked:

Results also mentioned about more than 1 nodule. also fatty infiltration & hemangioma. does this mean i have fatty liver (disease? ) do i have to be on a special diet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See note: Not sure about the nodule without seeing the actual report. Fatty infiltration and fatty liver are usually the same; however, in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) we typically see elevated liver enzymes, cholesterol, insulin resistance, and other changes. No need for a special diet but if you're overweight/obese, the best thing to do is to eat healthy, lose weight and exercise regularly.
