Likely small FB: You could have a small cut or small residual foreign body. If it fails to improve or worsens, consider seeing a hand surgeon in the office for a physical exam.

Finger pain: It's only been a week. There could be a little sliver (wood, fiberglass, etc. in there. Soak it twice a day in warm salty water and see if it goes away in a week
