Cut my finger shucking oysters cuple weeks ago, washed it peroxide. wound heels up but now finger is swelled up and hurts to the touch. what can i do?

Prompt evaluation: Get prompt medical care. Cuts to fingers & hands are notorious for becoming infected. You may need antibiotics and a tetanus shot.

Infection: It sounds as though you have an infection; you might even have an abscess. You should see your primary care provider to have it checked, as you might need to have an abscess opened and/or antibiotics.

Doctor!: Go see your doctor immediately. Pain and swelling after a cut or wound associated with dirty water or ocean water should be checked out right away.
