When i move my finger a part by the joint gives a sharp pain (when touched too) no visual injury. pain is lessening. why does it hurt? how do i heal?

Finger pain: It's possible that the joint has been sprained by some action or overuse activities that you're not obviously aware of. I recommend avoiding stressing that finger, warm soaks, and,if you can take them, anti-inflammatory medications like Advil or Aleve (naproxen) should help. If the finger is reddened and swollen, infection or acute arthritis may be present and you should be evaluated by a physician.
