had small meniscus tear in spring. completed specialist rec. rice and phy therapy, but now same knee is stiff/sore after exercise. please advise.

May need surgery: If you underwent an attempt at non operative care for a meniscus and are still having symptoms, it suggests it probably did not heal. You may be a candidate for arthroscopic surgery. I would discuss with your surgeon.

Rehab needed: Rehab is always necessary after any surgery. Needs tobe checked. Shouldn't have that much pain. Likely need mri.
