Influenza.....: If you develop the flu, a medicine like oseltamivir phosphate (Tamiflu) can be given to lessen symptom severity and duration. It is best given early, within the first 48 hours of symptoms. The best way to avoid the flu is to get an annual flu shot and wash your hands frequently, especially during flu season. Good luck!!!
