Can be a cause but!: There can also be other causes. It is best to discuss with your physician. This is a great drug and it can control your MS but you need guidance to take it safely. It is an immunosupressent and infection can be a risk. We used the same drug in studies for Rheumatoid Arthritis and it did great but we do not have it availble for RA unfortunately
