Advancing diet: Clear liquids only for 24 hours, then add BRAT diet as tolerated, B = BANANAS, R = RICE, A = APPLESAUCE, T = TOAST (dry). Continue to add plain foods, and foods that are easy to digest (eg. Soups and crackers). Avoid Diary Products, meats, fish, acidic and/or spicy foods, and vegetables that are difficult to digest (such as broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, and corn) until tolerating all other foods.
