Not recovered: After a stomach virus, the gut lining is destroyed and doesn't absorb and process food normally. Plus the bacteria that normally grows in the gut is altered and food isn't digested properly. Taking a probiotic, and keeping things simple for a few days can help tremendously. If things don't improve, see your doc to discuss it. Some can become mildly lactose intolerant for a few days.
