It might, ask Dr: Pepto coats the lining so adds protection from harsh foods or stomach acids. It kills some bacteria. To the extent the anxiety is increasing gastric acid - it may help - but ask the prescriber of any other drugs you take about interactions. You might find non-drug ways to lower anxiety - exercise, meditation, talk therapy, etc. Best!

Unlikely: Pepto-bismol works better for diarrhea than your issues. You would be better off on Pepcid or zantac (ranitidine).
