Yes: Generally, it is safe to take these medications together. The metformin and Diamox (acetazolamide) are flagged as potentially interacting down the line with continued use. However, the likelihood of that happening will be kept at a minimum if your prescribing doctors are both aware that you are on both of those medications and if they follow your lab work.
